Evelyn Beach

We loved staying here. The sea view was beautiful to wake up to, and the hotel sits right by the water in a perfect location. It's cute and simple, and the staff were lovely and very helpful. We enjoyed the meals, especially dinner outside under the lights with the waves in the background. I'd recommend it!

The staff at Evelyn Beach Hotel were friendly, easy to talk to and always helpful. They even gave us local souvenirs and the famous Raki to remember our time in Crete. My room was spacious and clean, with a panoramic sea view. The hotel is in a great spot, just 3meters from a beautiful bay, where you can relax with drinks from the hotel's bar. A truly unique stay, and 100% recommended. Thank you.

The restaurant staff were the best, and the food was good. The conditioner is way too loud, though, and the reception is a disaster. They wouldn't help with anything, at any time. It's okay if you don't plan to spend your free time at the hotel, but that's about it.

This was the worst 4* hotel. I don't know how it has that rating, because the quality was definitely low, even though the prices were not. The shower door was nearly falling off when I first entered the room. They came only every 4 days to take the rubbish and never refilled the shower gel. After four days, they took our towels to be washed but didn't bring clean ones. I got back from the city at midnight and had none. Breakfast and dinner involved a 30 minute wait in line because they didn't have enough staff. One day the swimming pool wasn't open. When I asked at reception, the woman told me it wasn't closed, as if she doubted me, then checked and saw I was right. The Wi-Fi was so poor I couldn't use it and had to rely on mobile data. The clothing dryer was completely dirty, and the TV remote was sticky and dusty, as if it hadn't been cleaned all year. They were supposed to disinfect it due to COVID-19, too.
