Stavros puts on a delicious BBQ once a week, and there’s food and drinks by the pool too, including ice creams. The prices are reasonable and the coffee was really nice. The hosts are lovely, the pool is a good size and the kids loved it. The accommodation was clean but very small, just right if you mainly need a place to sleep, wash, and change. We were two adults, a teenager, and a nine-year-old. The bedroom had a double and a single bed, with another single in the kitchen. We didn’t use the cooking facilities since we ate out every day. It’s around a 15-minute walk to the heart of the strip, and shops are nearby. The beach is about five minutes away, but it’s worth walking farther to find other beaches and coves for snorkelling. The water is beautifully clear. We hired a car for a few days and had parking available. The location was perfect for us. The one downside was the rush for pool loungers in the morning. People put towels down and leave them all day, so lots of sunbeds were taken without being used. Apart from that, the pool was clean and tidy. Would highly recommend.

It’s a lovely area, with great villages nearby. We went up there most nights, and Stavros will call you a taxi if you need one. When we got back, we’d sit with the other residents at the bar or around the pool and swap stories. It’s a friendly atmosphere, and Stavros and his family go the extra mile to make your holiday enjoyable. The apartments are basic but very clean, and it’s a lovely little place to stay. Definitely coming back.

We didn’t stay here, just stopped in to meet a friend and have a drink. Stavros was welcoming and friendly, and everyone there seemed to be having a good time. It’s a lovely, quiet spot away from the bustle of Hersonissos.

The weekly barbeque costs ten euros, and the food was the best we found anywhere on the island. Everyone ate together in the lovely Mediterranean weather, so it had a great atmosphere. It’s a family-run apartment complex, and the host works incredibly hard. It’s a little way from the town centre, but a nice walk. We wish we’d known about the shortcut behind the complex, though it only adds a hundred metres. We’d highly recommend it.
