The bed was two single mattresses pushed together, with no mattress pad, so I kept falling into the gap. There were no soaps in the shower, no reply to texts or emails, no receptionist, and no housekeeping. There’s no elevator or on-site parking either. In December the town was shut, and the hotel had no bar, restaurant, or breakfast. There wasn’t even coffee or water in the room, and prices were no different from peak season. I can’t see how this is listed as four star. Two at best, maybe three. They shouldn’t be open in December.

A lovely sea view straight from the accommodation, and the staff were helpful and enthusiastic. The biggest plus was breakfast at the restaurant across from the hotel, where you could eat until noon or later.

We were very happy with our choice: it’s an overnight stay right in the heart of the city, with plenty of action and delicious food. The street is busy with parties, clubs, and bars, but the sound insulation is really good, though you can still hear some noise. If you want quiet downtime by a pool, this place isn’t for you. The rooms were very good, the service excellent, and the staff pleasant.

The room’s design, the views, and the central location were all great, and the staff were friendly. Night noise is the drawback. The soundproofing doesn’t do much against the bass. Also, the A/C unit isn’t powerful, and it’s frustrating that I can’t leave it running when I step out for 20 minutes. On arrival I spent hours sweating while trying to cool the room, even with power mode on. In my opinion they should install a stronger unit or let guests run it when they’re out.

The staff looked after us so well, and everyone was lovely, friendly, and helpful. Our room was beautiful, clean, and well furnished. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was delicious, with generous servings. It does get a bit noisy at night, though people who like partying and going out probably won’t mind.
