Star Beach Village and Water Park

After the noise became too much, we asked to move rooms and the staff gladly helped. We're really happy with the new room, and they said nobody else nearby had complained, so they hadn't realized it was a problem. I've changed my rating from 2 stars to 5. We're happy with the place overall. Before moving, we were right beside the nightly entertainment, which ran past 22:00. At 21:05 during bingo, the room was actually shaking while they shouted numbers over and over in German and French. Earlier, the mini disco had blasted Baby Shark at full volume. I don't mind the entertainment itself, but having it right next to our room made it hard for us and our three small kids to sleep. It seemed like the other family rooms were in the same area too. The resort is pretty big, so I don't understand why families were put beside such a loud show. With little kids we already don't get much rest, and we got even less here. I found myself wishing I was back home for a quiet, normal night, with only my kids screaming and crying. Honestly, that sounds more pleasant. The hotel and rooms were fine, the room was cleaned daily, and I found the staff kind and helpful. The food wasn't terrible either, and the aqua park was cool.

The staff were really friendly, especially with the children, and the hotel worked well as a family holiday destination. There are three restaurants on the all-inclusive plan, two of them serving breakfast and lunch, plus three pool bars with drinks and some snacks. The water park is right next door, with pools for different ages, some slides, and access to sunbeds there and on the beach. Kids have plenty to do, including pools, a kids club, playgrounds, and a mini disco on six of the seven days.

The play park was excellent for kids of all ages, and the water park area was clean, with plenty of room for them to run around. We only came for a few hours so our daughter could play. It was nice and clean and not too busy, though the water was fairly cold for young children. A great place to let kids burn off some energy, and there's a beach right next door.

The sea was so clear, the views were lovely, and the waves felt amazing. The whole place is laid out so conveniently too, with the food area, beach side, activities, pools, and rooms all close together. There's also a whole street of the city center in front of the hotel. I came back from a family holiday wanting to share my honest thoughts. We usually choose hotels rated over 8.5, and I went in with low expectations because this one didn't have a great Booking rating and there weren't many places available. When I first saw the old walls and reception, I even said I wasn't sure this was a hotel, it looked so old and gave me the creeps. But walking through the little hotel streets changed my mind, and I fell in love with it. And the food was absolutely the best I've had at any hotel. If you like meat, seafood, pasta, pizza, tacos, or pretty much anything, go here! My parents are fussy eaters, and even after trips to Egypt and Turkey, they hadn't found food as tasty as this. The plates were cleared. Egypt and Turkey had greater hospitality and more food with a wider selection, but we preferred this food, and it was really delicious. I want to thank everyone at Star Beach Village. We'll definitely come back!
