The hostess made us feel at home, greeting us every day, and she was amazing. The staff also went out of their way to give us directions when we asked where to find food. Rooms and the swimming pool were cleaned daily. The mattress, bathroom, and air conditioning are old, but if you're after value for money, it's worth checking out. The price was much lower than the other nearby hotels.

At 20.75€ a night, it was nice enough, and everything besides the bed was old but still working. The mattress was extremely old, with the springs bottoming out and no support, so it was really uncomfortable. The surrounding area was a disaster: a big road, private properties, large hotel chains with huge fences and blocked paths, and a completely ruined so-called natural beach.

The owner was very friendly and did everything she could to help us. We were there for two nights in May with our 15-month-old daughter. The pool area was quiet and nice, and our room was clean, with a little kitchen that had a hob, fridge, plates, kettle, and cutlery. They had tea, coffee, and pastries in the morning, and the beach, bars, and restaurants are close by.

Free parking, and the beach is about 200 metres away. Restaurants and two supermarkets are very close too.

The family runs the place with a lot of pride, and generations of history give it a charm I liked. It's furnished with original vintage pieces, and there is great art on the walls. My front veranda and huge back veranda both offered complete privacy. It's near the beach and very close to Malia. The price was very friendly compared with the thousands of dollars other hotels ask.
