Kookis Village

Kookis was a fantastic holiday for our family of five, and I highly recommend it to families with young children. Antonis runs the place with real pride and very high standards. The breakfast was thoughtfully laid out, the staff were polite, and the cleaners were always helpful. They even took our laundry and brought it back folded during our two-week stay. The villas are luxurious and give you a relaxing, private space. The location worked really well for us: a mini local supermarket is a two-minute walk away, Keri seafront is about five minutes away, and there are at least three inland tavernas within around five minutes on foot, plus plenty more by the water. It's a very quiet setting, with nice views over Keri lake and the northern hills, and olive groves on the neighboring plots. The villas were cleaned to a high standard daily. The pool was spotless and didn't have the usual chlorine smell, which was a bonus with the children swimming in it for hours every day. Antonis was always willing to help. We had a wonderful holiday. Inside, the apartments were lovely, tidy, and very clean, and stayed cool even in the hot weather. They'd left some useful little extras, including tea bags, plenty of toilet paper, washing-up liquid, and bath and shower toiletries. The grounds were well kept, the staff were accommodating, and we got free drinks on arrival. The only small thing is that the pool could have been a bit bigger, though the beautiful beach is just 300m down the road.

The service and cleaning were impeccable. We hadn't booked breakfast, but every morning there were freshly baked pies or little pizzas for us, free of charge. The house was spacious and beautifully decorated, with quality furniture, especially the mattresses. The pool was a good size, and the location was ideal: 500m from the seaside restaurants and bars, 300m from Keri's fantastic beach with sunbeds or natural shade, and just 100m from a supermarket and bakery and coffee shops. Zakynthos Town is about 25' by car, but there's plenty to do in Keri. Perfect for couples or families, highly recommended 😎

Lovely people, and the breakfast was delicious! The pool was a good temperature, and the place had what we needed.
