Koki Studios

We spent a fantastic week at Villa Koki. The room was nice, and there are terraces all around where you can take in the wonderful views of Pallas beach and the main beach. It's very close to both beaches and to Lindos village, with its shops, bars and restaurants. Dimitris, a family member, helped us with something, and we're forever grateful ❤️. The owner, Fedora, is a lovely Greek lady. I hope I have her name spelled correctly. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Best wishes from Susan and Richard 🇬🇷🥂😎❤️

Good location, and the owner was friendly.

The room matched the pictures, and the view and location are stunning. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. We knew from reviews there might not be soap, so we brought some. There was no cutlery either, which I thought was expected. The little two-burner stove worked, but with only one room, we didn't cook. I'd highly recommend it for an overnight stay.

The rooftop terrace was a highlight, with a fantastic view for a glass of wine after dinner and a walk around the village. The plastic table and chairs faded into the background against that view. The two sandy beaches are just 2-3 minutes away, and most of the restaurants, bars, souvenir shops and a few grocery stores are an easy walk. Lindos itself gave us plenty of lovely moments that I'll remember fondly, and we'll definitely return to see more of the island. I'm unsure about booking this place again, unless it's been furnished more, even if that means paying a higher price. The room was old-fashioned, with antique furniture, which disappointed me given the hefty price. It could be made more pleasant for guests. The air conditioning did work, although it was temperamental at first until we tinkered with it. We avoided the musty wardrobe, which held a safe and an old fuzzy blanket, and kept our clothes in our suitcases. The bathroom was very small, with a tub about half the usual size. It was just big enough for a slim woman to shower, and most men would have trouble, but careful use can avoid a flood. I'm giving two stars because of the dated furnishings and the cleaning staff. They started at 8:00 a.m., talking loudly and making a lot of noise with their equipment, so we couldn't sleep in on most mornings. We were woken by the conversations or by another knock, even though we'd explicitly told the owner we'd keep the room tidy ourselves and didn't need cleaning. That's what a vacation is for!
