Lindos Aqua Luxury Villa

The setting is wonderful, with superb views of the acropolis and two beautiful beaches, one a 10-minute walk away and the larger one 15-20 minutes away. The villa itself is lovely, but it needs a bit of attention before I’d give it five stars. A trolley would have helped us carry our cases to the villa, as it’s a reasonable walk, especially for anyone with a disability. After unpacking, we tried repeatedly to lock our passports and money in the safes, but they didn’t work. The owner said we might not be programming them properly and told us to read the instructions, but didn’t want to drive the two hours to fix them. One room’s large shower head didn’t work, and the small one hung very loosely on the wall. The toilet douch wasn’t working either. The shower door fell onto me as I tried to close it, and luckily my husband was in the bedroom and helped me. The cleaning maid didn’t seem to do a noticeable job in any of the rooms. The hot tub hadn’t been checked or cleaned; by the middle of the week it smelled unpleasant, so we didn’t use it. The rooms need to be checked over and the small problems fixed.

A cosy, lovely villa with a touch of luxury.

Really enjoyed the place.

We spent five days in this lovely villa as three couples of friends and never got tired of the upstairs terrace view of the Lindos acropolis. There are three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a central kitchen and jacuzzi. Towels were changed twice during our stay, and the housekeeper cleaned and made the beds every day. The service was impeccable, better than a hotel, in this luxurious villa, just as its name suggests.
