Lindos centre studios

For €1,180 for seven nights, we expected an apartment, but it was just one room with an open-plan kitchen. The bathroom had no light, the beds were hard, and the shower had no hot water or pressure. The fridge was mouldy, and the mattress was stained, possibly with urine. After we said we were sleeping badly, the owner asked what we expected them to do and pointed out that the mattress had cost €500. We had only asked for a mattress cover, not a replacement. They brought a thick winter cover that hid the springs digging into our ribs, and changed the light bulb. There was no internet connection either. We would have left, but there was nowhere nearby available. It felt more like a hostel than an apartment. The owner should invest in proper repairs and improvements. Stay away, it wasn't worth the trouble. Bad, bad, bad.

The apartment was very clean, and they serviced it nearly every day, including both Sundays, despite the information saying they wouldn't. It's on the edge of the village, near St Paul's Bay and opposite the amphitheatre, with a lovely view of the acropolis. By Greek standards, it was a nice place in a great spot. Cooking equipment was very limited, but enough for boiling an egg, making toast, or warming flatbread. A couple of things needed attention, probably routine maintenance, but the friendly woman in charge sorted them out quickly and to our complete satisfaction. We'd happily stay again.

Stayed on the first floor for a holiday near St Paul’s bay. The view across to the Acropolis was amazing.

Just a few steps from St. Paul bay and close to the village shops, the location was perfect. The room was lovely and clean, and the staff were kind and always available. Really nice, thank you so much. Hope to see you again!
