The beach was quite dirty, with private umbrellas and chairs taking up space. Two dogs kept passing through the beach area, which made us feel afraid and tense. The apartment itself was bare and not cozy. It smelled damp and moldy, and the face and body towels had already been used. The refrigerator kept creaking or making an unpleasant noise, unbearable at night. We had only one key, and when we left it inside the room we panicked because there was no way to get in. We lost time, but the owner eventually found a way to unlock it. There was also an accident, though we don’t know whose fault it was, and we had no electricity from 6 to 8 in the evening. That caused discomfort and tension. There were flies and no internet connection either. I also left a comment on Booking. The owner's response was rude. Thanks for the comment! You can see who is rude! We’re all from the village, but the village is in you, and with this tone and attitude you won’t leave the village anytime soon! We’ve visited ruined places all over Greece, Europe and elsewhere. There’s no hole like this! Dampness, flies, no internet, no electricity and a terribly dirty beach. That’s all. Stay healthy!

We checked out the next morning because the place wasn’t right for us and looked nothing like we expected. The photos don’t do it justice: our room was small and dingy, the appliances were rusty, there were flies in the bathroom, and we found broken glass all over the floor. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned. We had prepaid even though it wasn’t required, and the owner refused to refund the unused balance. She was unbelievably rude, unprofessional and obnoxious, making all kinds of excuses for why she wasn’t obligated to refund us for that hovel. I guess she was really hard up for the money, for obvious reasons.

A lovely garden by the sea, with a friendly, relaxed feel. Giannis is a great host and makes the best Aperol Spritz. We’ll be back soon.

Such a wonderful place to relax, and great for families. The kids will love it. Wish we’d had more time to spend here!
