Nostos Serifos

We felt well looked after throughout our stay, thanks to the friendly management who made the experience feel personal and warm. The hotel is an easy walk from the seaside, with plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, and the service was attentive and friendly. There was a good range at breakfast too. We’d happily come back!

Sofia made us feel like we were staying with friends. She welcomed us warmly, shared maps showing which beaches were sandy or pebbly and organized or unorganized, pointed out top sights and restaurants, and lent us an umbrella for the unshaded beaches. The staff were lovely and always happy to share local tips. The room was clean and simple, cozy in size, with a small balcony. There was no complimentary port pickup, though it’s only about a 10 minute walk from the harbour. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit, yogurt, local pastries, and a small selection of cold cuts and cheese. We noticed a car on site that might be available to guests, so it may be worth asking early if you need one and aren’t booking your own. We’d gladly stay at Nostos again and recommend it to friends.

Eva, the manager, and the whole team made us feel so welcome. They were warm and professional, and the fresh towels offered when we arrived were a thoughtful touch. The rooms are modern, though on the small side, with small balconies. There’s also a modern gym. The hotel sits just behind the harbour, right across from where the ferries arrive, and it’s easy to get to the beaches and downtown. Breakfast was good, but the fresh options were limited, with mostly pies and cakes. For what we paid, I expected more hot dishes. It’s a good hotel, though overpriced for what it offers, even in high season.
