The lunches at Ilidi Rock are worth mentioning, with “Mama Dikea” making homemade traditional Greek dishes each day. You can also use the beach sunbeds and umbrellas there, since it’s a sister hotel. We had an amazing week at Irini, and the welcoming, hospitable staff made us feel at home. The pool is charming and great for relaxing. Already looking forward to coming back!

The mix of nationalities makes for an entertaining holiday, and we swap stories about the day before over breakfast. I’ve been coming to Hotel Irini on Tilos since 2004, which probably says enough. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are basic but comfortable, and the pool and grounds are lovely. The arrangement with the sister hotel works well. It’s my happy place.

The staff are genuine, very friendly, and attentive. Breakfast is brought to the table, though the quality was average. The rooms have enough space and come with a fridge, fan, air conditioning, safe, and exterior blinds. The bathroom is quite small, but has plenty of storage and hooks. It’s a shame the shower gel and hand soap come in plain, rather worn dispensers. The hotel is in a prime spot, and the garden and pool are beautifully landscaped. It’s also great that guests can use the sun loungers at partner hotel Ilridi-Rock for free.
