Apollonides Seafront Villa 2 “Melete”

We loved having the sea just steps away, with clear water for swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding or kayaking. The setting was quiet and peaceful, away from busy tourist areas, with dramatic coastlines and beautiful beaches. Lixouri nearby felt charming and relaxed, with a few authentic tavernas serving delicious local food. The area seemed wonderfully undiscovered and not overly touristic. It made for a more genuine Greek island experience. Dimitris and Dionisis were warm, welcoming hosts with loads of local knowledge. They gave us great tips for hidden beaches, scenic drives and places to see, and even arranged a private boat trip to secret coves and clear bays. They also cooked local dishes for us and shared fresh vegetables and fruit from their garden. The house itself was fully equipped and thoughtfully decorated, both elegant and homely. Everything was impeccably clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Even the crisp linen and towels smelled wonderful. We did yoga on the spacious balcony in the morning, listening to the sea and looking out at a breathtaking view. At night, the sky was full of bright stars without city lights. This was a peaceful haven in a beautiful natural setting, lovingly cared for by attentive hosts. It was everything we hoped for and more.
