The people here were helpful and hardworking, while still giving us plenty of privacy. We really appreciated being able to borrow a parasol for the beach, thanks! The apartment was clean and well equipped, with air conditioning that worked well. We had a lovely view of the mountains, sea and pool, and the shutters made the room completely dark. The pool is a good size and depth, with comfortable loungers, both sunny and shady spots, and handy little tables. Getting up the steep hill is a bit of a climb, but at the top the layout of the houses feels cosy and the resort is lovely. A few things could make it five-star for us: the bin is much too small, towels could be changed every two days instead of every three, and the shower would be easier to use with a hook at a proper height. That last point wasn't a real problem, though. We really enjoyed our stay.

There was plenty of room for my kids to play in the garden and around the pool, which was clean and well kept. The area is quiet and close to the beach, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. One balcony looks out over the beautiful mountains, while the other has a breathtaking view of the blue Ionian Sea. I’d definitely come back.

We had a relaxing stay in a lovely apartment with sea views, a great pool and very friendly staff. The owner communicated well. Little extras came in handy, too: sun umbrellas and tables by the loungers, pool or beach towels on request, a barbecue, water, tea, jam and honey in the apartment, plus a hairdryer and a toastie maker we used a lot. The sandy Lourdas beach and quite a few restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The apartment is up a fairly steep hill, though it wasn't too bad. We liked Olive Lounge for food and O Platanos for drinks, and would suggest hiring a car to see more of the island. Lourdata makes a good base. The one small frustration was that our room was cleaned and the bins and towels changed only once during the whole week. I didn't take off a star, since I'm sure they'd have brought fresh towels straight away if we'd asked. The staff were accommodating and happy to help. We'd recommend staying here and would consider coming back to Kefalonia.

The accommodation is clean and modern, and the bay views are fantastic. I'd recommend hiring a car to see more of this beautiful island and to make getting back from the harbour bars and restaurants easier.

It was peaceful and relaxing both day and night, away from noisy city areas, dust and traffic. We really liked Lourdata beach, about a 10 to 15 minute walk away. The hotel feels very family oriented, with a huge pool that's safe, clean and beautiful, and gardens and flowers that give shade and a good place for kids to play. Miss Stamos and her team were extremely polite and hardworking, and found solutions that suited our concerns. They also provided a baby cot for my one-year-old and a feeding chair.
