The host was extremely friendly, quick to respond and committed to helping me. When I told her I was having trouble, she brought another room immediately. I'm very grateful for that, even though it didn't have the double bed I'd booked. It had a kitchen where I could make tea, a fridge and lots of space. The water at the sink was impossible to turn on at first, even for a strong man, though I finally managed it. I could use the shower. The large heating was off, but there was a standing heater. The walls are very thin, and unfortunately I could hear my neighbor burping constantly. I booked a smoke-free room twice because I'm highly allergic to smoke, but room nr.10 had a strong smoke smell in the walls and bathroom. It gave me a heavy headache, even with the window wide open. It was cold, and I couldn't turn on the heating because I thought it would stir up more smoke particles. The fengshui in that room felt very bad. The view was good, and the curtains were clean and didn't smell of smoke, but a mosquito came in even with them closed. I couldn't shut the protection, or I would have found it even harder to breathe. I'd spent the week outside right by the sea, where I could breathe well, and thought I'd be able to rest somewhere warm. Instead, I had heavy pain from the contrast. I was sensing my face for the first time in more than sixteen years, and that evening I couldn't ask for a smoke-free room right away. The headache was getting worse, and being autistic made it difficult to request a change. I could hardly rest at all, and thought I might have to sleep outside despite having a room. My smoke allergy, Lyme disease and paralysis symptoms got worse. I don't go to an ambulance because I can heal myself, but this was the first time I thought I needed an inhalation tool. The hot springs and sea help, but I worried that clearing my lungs now would make things worse. As my breathing got heavier, I finally managed to ask that evening, and she responded immediately. I'd never had accommodation respond that fast. The second room had better fengshui and different lighting, though it still wasn't ideal for sensitive people. I know not everyone has a sight handicap. The lady might have been a little stressed about coming back, but anyone can make a mistake by giving the wrong room. I understand, because of my sight handicap, that things can take a long time. The bed in the second room was better, even though it wasn't a double. In the first room, you could feel feathers moving under you. If you can stay grounded and keep the room dark, the second room is OK for a few days. It wouldn't be so good for someone with a spinal cord injury, for example, because it has no bathtub. The place just needs some sustainable renovation. The wall color was good. I recommend using a water filter if you're allergic to chlorine too, though I hope there's not much in the water since this is a thermal water region. The host always helps where she can. She's extremely friendly and alert, even though she has a family to take care of. I wanted to stay longer because I got used to the place, and it's the cheapest place to stay here, but even now the rent is too much for me. Even for a month, it might be possible to rent somewhere cheaper, but I can't because I need a lot of space for sculptures, a bathtub because of my spinal cord injury, and somewhere far from the city. In general, for better energy, it would be good to have some plants in the room and a healing picture instead of a TV. These days people want different things. If you're busy outside all day and come back just to sleep, it's OK to stay here.

The host was very welcoming, and the rooms are clean. It's a quiet, cosy place in a perfect location. The internet connection is excellent if you need to work during your stay. I'd happily recommend Sofia rooms.

The rooms were cleaned every day, and breakfast was good. The hosts were friendly and helpful with all our questions. It's not far from the beach, about a 3-4 minute walk.

Maria made us feel at home from the start. The place was spotless, and the sheets and towels were changed often, something I hadn’t experienced in rented rooms before. The couple were so sweet with our dog Adele. My husband Chris Nikolaou and I had a warm, comfortable stay and will definitely come back. Thank you, Maria 😊

For the price, this is a very good choice: I paid 15€ for a single room with breakfast during the off season. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel is right in the center. The owners are friendly and speak English. It’s open all year.
