That garden was so lovely, full of flowers and kept in great shape. Honestly, it almost made me wonder if this was a gardening business. The staff were very friendly, the room and towels were clean, housekeeping did its job, the bathroom was nice, and the AC and little fridge worked. The mattress was passable. There were a lot of missing basics: no bedside table, no bin outside the bathroom, and just one stool instead of a chair or table. The DIY bed squeaked, sound came through the doors and walls, parking wasn't private, and some things were old and barely holding together. For two people in 2025 we paid 100 a night. At half that price I'd call it a good budget stay, at 65% of that price it'd be okay, but 75% felt too much.

Nikos at reception was friendly and always keen to help, and parking turned out to be easy, either by the hotel or in a marked area 50 meters down the road. We didn't have breakfast. The hotel is near the village entrance, close to both Chora and the port, so the location worked well. We'd booked in early June because August had almost no rooms under 100 euros. Some of the reviews and replies had made me wary, but our doubts didn't pan out. We had a nice ground-floor room facing the road, with cozy furniture and a renovated bathroom. The fridge was quiet and worked properly. The locks are old, but I didn't feel unsafe.

The view, room, owners and parking were all good, and the August prices were reasonable. You get what you pay for. My one suggestion: clean the rooms daily instead of just leaving towels at the door.
