Blue Lagoon

We found a quiet spot in the shade, and the sea was clear even in the middle of the season. On weekdays there weren't crowds. There's a restaurant close by, plus a beach with sun loungers and some free areas where you can spend time on your own. Worth going.

The house is beautiful, and it looks like the owner put real money into it. Having the beach nearby and a big private parking area is handy. Just keep in mind that an event at the place across the road can make noise at night.

We came expecting three quiet nights, but ended up with only one or two apologies. The house is right beside the beach bar's parking area, so cars heading out until dawn honked their horns, apparently to get back at us. In the morning, neighbors told us they had called the police too and that the bar holds events every Saturday, disturbing the whole neighborhood. On the Saturday we arrived, the bar, about five meters across the road, had an event with live music, weddings, baptisms and other events. When it started, we called the owner to say we'd come for some quiet and the noise was bothering us. We also told her we wouldn't be able to sleep when we went to bed. She assured us it would be quiet by 23:30 at the latest, but it wasn't. The music only stopped at 02:00. Until then, we complained to her and the police about the serious disturbance to the peace and quiet we'd expected.

There are two nice rooms, plus a living room and terrace, and the kitchen and living area have everything, including towels and sheets. The place faces the sea, with a swimming spot in the lake just 30 m away. The downside is the beach bar by the water. Its music gets annoying, especially on Saturdays.
