Hotel Marion

The staff were helpful and professional, and breakfast was good. It’s a nice hotel by the sea, with clean, comfortable rooms and a small beach just across the road. Some balconies have a beautiful view over the Corinthian Gulf.

There’s no parking lot, and the hotel doesn’t take credit or debit cards, so we had to walk all the way to an ATM for cash. The room was okay, but it needs some work. To me, this is a typical Loutraki hotel with a “if it works, don’t change it” attitude. It’s only a two-star place, and at 70 Euros a night, it definitely wasn’t worth the price. Keep it as a last option and look elsewhere. Loutraki itself also feels like an old town that needs renovation in every area.

I woke up and went to look at breakfast, but it seemed stale and very limited, so I didn’t try any. The whole stay was frustrating enough that I wouldn’t come back. The place was filthy, with dust and dirt under the bed and all over. The mattress was awful, the fridge and bathroom were dirty, the TV was old and not flat, and the air conditioning was very dated. The Wi-Fi barely worked.

The room had air conditioning, and the bathroom was very large, though not in great condition. There’s no private parking. Breakfast was included and good. The staff were extremely nice and changed our booking date without charging us the difference.
