Mantas Bay Apartments

We come here a few times every year for the peaceful, relaxing beach and its bar. The staff are fantastic and really lovely. Thanks to the way the sea is here, the water is always a little warmer, and it’s a good spot for water sports too.

It’s peaceful and has lovely views, but the housekeeping staff aren’t professional, and their Greek is limited.

There’s a beach bar open throughout the day for breakfast, coffee, and drinks, with stronger liquor at night. You can swim at the little private beach in front, though not for long. The houses sit on a small hill overlooking Vouliagmeni Lake and the surrounding area. It’s calm in the daytime, but can get a bit noisy if other guests are restless, since the houses are close together. To me, it’s the only decent place to stay overnight or spend a week around the Lake. Prices are low in May and June, high in July and August, and affordable in autumn and winter. The daily cleaning of the grounds could be a little better. Still, it’s a nice place to stay if you want to enjoy the Lake.
