The people here are so kind and caring. Breakfast was very good, with plenty for vegetarians too. I especially liked the fresh olive bread, eggs, roasted tomatoes and mushrooms, plus different kinds of local bread. There were croissants with cream and Greek yogurt with all sorts of Makrinitsa-Style fruit, cherries, honey and more. Very good!

The bar deserves a mention: a great range and quality of drinks, and the best hot chocolate I've tasted in years! The owners were kind and welcoming, and happy to share tips about Makrinitsa. Breakfast and the restaurant area felt spacious and inviting, with lots of food to choose from. The hotel sits right on the central square, so it's easy to get around and enjoy the views. My room was beautifully decorated and spotless, with especially warm, thoughtful lighting. A charming stay, highly recommended.

We stayed three nights, and the whole team was kind and welcoming. Since we were celebrating, there was complimentary wine waiting when we arrived, a really thoughtful touch. The hotel is new and the facilities are top standard, with care put into every detail. Even before we arrived, the lady helped arrange a specific room to suit our needs during the booking process. It's a great base for exploring the area. Makrinitsa gets quiet at night, though two excellent restaurants remain open, along with the hotel lounge, and there are good dining options in nearby villages.
