We loved the pool bar, with its great food and cocktails, and even a happy hour deal every evening. The club sandwich, gyros, and Greek salad were especially good. There are three pools plus a kids’ pool, all clean, with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. The beach is less than a five-minute walk away. The rooms were clean and had AC, with clean sheets and towels changed every 2-3 days. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Had an amazing stay, strongly recommend :)

The hotel is family-owned and has a really chilled feel. It’s very different from the resorts we’ve stayed in before, which we liked. We often had the pool to ourselves, and the beach is only a five-minute walk away. There are also plenty of beachfront restaurants within a 15-minute walk, and the main tourist area is a short taxi ride away. Clean and safe, and I’d recommend it.

Roula and her son Adonis run the place so well. They’re always smiling and friendly, and they go out of their way to help with anything. The pools are clean, with three to choose from, and the rooms are clean too, with daily maid service. The bar area is lovely for drinks and snacks. Local bars are a 15/25-minute walk away, and two bus routes give you options for visiting different towns, including Chania, about 30 minutes away. We only paid 2 Star tourist tax, but the service felt like 5 Star. Can’t wait to return next year, and I highly recommend the hotel.

I had a spacious solo room with everything I needed and a good view of both hills and sea. Breakfast each morning had a nice range of continental options, cereals, fruit, and cooked egg dishes. Everything was clean, and having the towels and sheets changed every couple of days was just right. It was exactly the kind of lovely week I needed to recharge. The manager and team were so friendly and welcoming, and that warmth seemed to carry through to the other guests too. Thanks for such a lovely stay at the Carisa.
