It's an easy five or ten minute walk to Malia's main area, but far enough away that the strip's noise doesn't disturb you. The owners were really helpful and even showed us where the bus stop was when we couldn't find it. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi were included in the price, which I thought was great value. The pool you can use is just a two-minute walk away.

We had a wonderful holiday. The room was comfortable and well cleaned, the location was excellent, and the hosts were great and very helpful. The city center, bus stop, shops, clubs and restaurants were all very close by :)

The photos make the place look completely different, so I was a bit disappointed. We were told the day before arriving that air conditioning would cost €7 per day, even though it was around 40°C, and there wasn't even a fan as another way to cool the room. We were also asked to pay in cash as soon as we arrived. The pool in the photos belongs to another hostel, which seemed pretty nice and had a bar and pool for about the same price including AC. It's sad to see this place so empty in summer. I hope things get better for them.

A wonderfully clean place with very good prices, a shop next door, and the beach and pool nearby. It's a brilliant family-run business, and the owners were very kind and welcoming.

I really enjoyed it! The owner, George, was polite and helpful. It's close to the main street in Malia without being right on top of it, so there's lots of fun nearby. Great value for young people, and my upstairs room was clean, bright and quiet.
