There were lots of returning guests, many back year after year, which says a lot about the hotel and how friendly the owners are. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Yamas! We spent eight nights at the Filia and had a great stay from beginning to end. Michael welcomed us warmly and offered a welcome drink, a nice touch. Our bedroom was spacious, with working air-conditioning and a good-sized balcony. The bathroom was compact, and the bed was firm but comfortable enough. Breakfast was fine and typical of a family-run hotel. Dinner was good too, though we ate out a few times to try local restaurants. There are two pools, one at each block, and the sunbeds were very comfortable. The bar was calm during the day, then Billy brought it to life in the evening. He's Michael's lively, funny, loud, and very entertaining brother. There was never a dull moment. A highlight was Saturday's outdoor barbecue, with a good singer and guitarist and everyone encouraged to try traditional Greek dancing. It was funny and great fun all round. The location is good, just a three-minute walk from the main strip.

It's a small hotel, but you can tell the owners put their heart into making guests feel at home. They're kind and friendly, and take good care of their guests, always checking that you're happy. It's in a great location and feels very safe. The food is good, the rooms are nice, and it's a family-friendly place. Highly recommend it. Ilona

Our only concern was the second block. Its rooms need some renovation, and the block feels a bit isolated, especially if walking is difficult. It does have its own pool and bar, though we'd be happier staying in the main block, closer to everything. The hotel is spread across two blocks, and the main area with reception, bar, restaurant, and pool is beautiful. It's easy to get around on foot, even if you're less able-bodied. The restaurant and poolside snack bar both serve excellent food. The sunbeds are the most comfortable we've ever seen, and the pool has steps and a handrail, which is especially helpful for disabled guests. It's family-run, and we felt welcome right away with a friendly greeting and a free drink at the bar. In the evening, Billy at the pool bar is the center of things. Many guests return, and I can see why.

We had a fabulous 10-night stay and have just got back. The executive suite and standard double we booked worked perfectly for our family. The staff are so kind and really look after their guests. We enjoyed the food options, and the pool and bar are very nice. The place was spotlessly clean, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the strip and beach.
