We were assigned a dirty, old, much smaller room at the back, with a 1.20-wide double bed. It looked nothing like the advertised rooms in the photos, which showed decent beds and 20m2 rooms. When we complained, the owner mostly made himself out to be the victim. We left after one day, but he told the booking agency we’d stayed the whole week. This host and accommodation are a disgrace to Malia. I recognize the problems mentioned in other bad reviews. Spend your money elsewhere.

Litsa studios had a warm, familiar feel. The lovely couple Nicola and Surla were helpful with anything we asked for. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

We had a cosy, clean room with a beautiful balcony view. It was cleaned every day, and we could get fresh towels whenever we needed them. The owners were very kind and helpful, and there are some awesome Greek snacks to try here :) Malia’s markets, bus stops and restaurants are all close by.

From 29th of July to 5th of August, my seven days at Litsa felt like being at home with my parents. Nik and Soula, the owners, are so lovely and kind, always there to help and give good advice. The room was clean, nicely furnished and had a beautiful view. The food was delicious and very cheap, and there’s wi-fi in every room. You can also book excursions, cars, quad and cruises right at reception. The beach, shops and restaurants are just a five-minute walk away. Nik, Soula, save me a place. I’ll be back next summer!
