It was cheap enough, but I wouldn’t choose this place again. You can hear everything from the other rooms, the beds are very basic, and the bathroom and shower are small. The rooms were clean, and the pool area was nice. Apart from the cleaner, I found the staff pretty formal, and we didn’t really get a welcome when we arrived. The beach is about a 30-minute walk away, so this isn’t the place for a beach holiday. It’s OK in the old town, but I much prefer Stalis to Malia. I had to cut my holiday short, and in a way I was glad to leave. I suppose you get what you pay for.

The food is fantastic, and the staff are so much fun. They’re amazing, always ready with good advice on things to do and see. I couldn’t recommend the place enough.

No complaints at all. The staff were wonderful and very friendly, and the food and drinks were brilliant and reasonably priced. The hotel is great, right in the old town and 15 minutes from the strip.

We had a fantastic holiday and would happily come back. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed being up in old Malia: it was easy to walk into town for dinner each evening, and close enough to reach the seafront while still being away from the nighttime noise. Do try the frozen strawberry daiquiri! The dogs barking in the evenings were the one downside. We hadn't paid for air conditioning, so we slept with the balcony door open, and the barking seemed to go on much of the night and kept us awake. That's outside the hotel's control, but next time I'd pay for the air con.
