The staff were amazingly friendly and always checked that we were having a good time. The pool was very clean and looked great, and I had no complaints about the room. The AC worked perfectly, though it costs extra per day and is a little hard to program. Mobile reception in the room was limited, and the hotel Wi-Fi wasn’t the best either. The bar’s Wi-Fi worked better while hanging out by the pool. It’s a great location, literally a five-minute walk from good local restaurants, and ten minutes from the beach and the main street full of bars and clubs. For a three-star hotel at this price, the stay couldn’t have been better. I’d definitely stay here again if I come to Malia.

There isn’t much clothes storage in the rooms, and after sunset the hot water supply can be unreliable because it’s heated by solar power. The Wi-Fi is poor and often stops working outside, even when the signal looks strong. Our booking included breakfast, but it costs 6 euro per day. Looking at the breakfast menu, it’s hard to spend more than 6 euro on breakfast and coffee. The hotel’s rating seems about right. It’s close to the beach, and when it’s windy the pool is clean and pleasant.

A lovely, clean pool, excellent staff, and a great location. This is about as good as you’ll get from a two-star hotel. I’d come back.
