Villa Voltera

We loved staying at Villa Voltera in Kefalonia. The location is breathtaking, the villa was spotless throughout, and the host was kind. Highly recommended! 🧿

The pool was our favourite spot at Villa Voltera. We had a barbecue with friends and spent some wonderful time outside. There’s private parking at the villa, so we felt safe leaving our cars there overnight. Inside, the place was beautifully decorated and had everything needed for cooking and dining. The rooms had all the amenities listed on Airbnb. It’s a three-bedroom villa that works well for young couples or families, just an eight-minute drive from Lixouri port. The house was ready and clean when we arrived, and Kostas’s local tips for food and excursions made our holiday in Lixouri smooth and relaxing. Highly recommended, and thank you, Kostas.

We were four adults staying for two weeks and had a really great time, even through three days of heavy stormy weather. Kostas looked after us, shared useful ideas for exploring the island and replied quickly whenever we had questions about the villa or things like ferries, tours and places to eat. The villa was well equipped, private and quiet, with nobody around to disturb us. We loved starting the morning with a swim in the private pool, then coffee or breakfast on the beautiful terrace. The view was stunning, and the pool area got sun from early morning until late afternoon. The villa and pool were cleaned regularly and clearly well looked after. You’ll need a car here since nothing is close enough to walk to. It’s about an hour’s drive from the airport, five minutes to the nearest grocery store, five minutes to Xi Beach and eight minutes to Lixouri. We highly recommend staying here. Great villa for a family or friends to rent and spend time together. The views were fantastic and the pool was great. We woke to the sound of goats being shepherded across the hills.
