Good value for the money, with nice people and the sea close by.

There are plenty of birds around, including roosters and morning birdsong, and the hotel carries sound, so leave the alarm clock at home. The surroundings are lovely and the hotel is reasonably good, though the rooms could use a few small fixes. It's perfectly okay for a short holiday.

It's a very quiet spot, like much of the island, so don't expect bars or music late at night. The sea was surprisingly nice, with a little sand in places, spots where you can stand and talk in the water, and smaller rocks for snorkelling. We saw lots of kinds of fish and caught some, and even released three octopuses. There's a small garden, regular cleaning and a bar with light snacks. Our place had a small balcony, fridge and a working little oven in the kitchen, which was a great surprise. The apartment was more like a large studio, but it worked for us. It had one regular bed and one extra bed in the kitchen, plus a double bed in the bedroom. Storage was limited to one small wardrobe with two working doors and one broken one. The villa isn't the advertised 120 metres from the sea, not even as the crow flies. It's about 400 metres away. We're not demanding guests and were satisfied with the accommodation; we'd rather spend our money on renting a car for the whole stay and exploring the island. I'm saying this so other people won't be disappointed. We'd stayed in smaller places too.

A calm, pleasant place near the sea, with nice people. The accommodation is clean and cozy, nothing luxurious, but not bad. I recommend it.
