We were very disappointed. The online photos don’t match the apartment we found: the floors were sticky, the kitchen utensils greasy and dirty, and there was a strong stale smell throughout, especially in the bedroom. Finding cockroaches in the bedroom was the worst part and completely unacceptable. The place needs proper cleaning, pest control, and general maintenance. We wouldn’t recommend it and won’t return.

We liked the peaceful area and being close to the beach. The mattress was very hard, though, and air conditioning costs €5 a day for one person or €10 for two. We didn’t need it, but in summer it would be very hot without it. Getting to downtown Athens took an hour, and an Uber was €50 each way. Splitting the fare worked for our group, but a solo traveler might save time and money by staying closer to downtown.

We arrived at 10:30pm and the apartment staff were incredibly accommodating, some of the nicest people we’ve met outside the United States. The complimentary melon and fruit punch were a great touch. The price was amazing, and I’d stay here again if I’m back in this part of the world. The sersere was another reason I’d return.

The room was basic, but the staff were really friendly and helpful. It worked well for sleeping and washing, and security felt good. I left my valuables locked in the room.

Dimitris is a really nice host and helps with whatever you need. The beach is very close, and the bed was great. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
