Mati Hotel

The pool and restaurant area were lovely, with a great sea view that adds to the charm. We only had one night in Athens and were glad we picked Mati Seaside Hotel. It's right on the water and in a perfect spot. The staff were incredibly friendly, gave us helpful suggestions, and went out of their way with both service and conversation. They made us feel like old friends. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone needing a stay in Athens away from the busy downtown area.

The staff made a huge difference, supporting me in every way and helping me put a difficult travel experience behind me. I booked Mati Hotel at the last minute for a short overnight after a distressing incident on my trip, and what I found went well beyond what I'd expected. The room was comfortable, renovated, and stylish. They let me have breakfast even though I arrived as the restaurant was closing. The location is right on the beach, and there's a refreshing pool. This place feels like a hidden gem in Athens. I'll be back one day, and it definitely gets five stars from me.

Everything was spotless and comfortable, and breakfast was generous. The dinner menu was delicious, and the service was super friendly. If you're lucky, you'll meet Maria, who's kind and generous. Greetings from Czech Republic, Maria!

The pool was a great place to meet up with our cousins, go for a swim, and relax with a couple of drinks from the bar. The drinks and service were both great. When we arrived from the airport around 9:30 in the morning, our room wasn't ready, but the team welcomed us with smiles and showed us a room where we could leave our suitcases and change before using the pool. They said they'd find us there when our room was ready, and the same woman who checked us in came by later to let us know. We got a nice room with views of both the pool and beach. Next time we're in Greece, I think we'll stay here for a couple of days instead of just one night. Thank you, team.
