Kiani Akti Hotel

We picked this place for a couple of days by the pool and beach before flying back to Oz, and it suited us perfectly. We paid extra for a balcony with a water view, and that was well worth it. The rooms are very basic and the bathroom a bit cramped, but the price reflected that, and we were only in the room to sleep. The hotel staff and the people at the attached bar and restaurant were fantastic. Breakfast was a proper Greek continental spread.

We were really happy with this place for our last night in Greece. The room was gorgeous, clean, and updated, with great air conditioning, a great shower, and an amazing balcony overlooking the sea. The pool was lovely, and we had free access to beach chairs. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Checkout is at noon, so there was time for breakfast before the hotel arranged a ride to the airport, only 20 minutes away. Such a gem.

The view is BEAUTIFUL, and the hotel feels cozy. The rooms are simple but clean, everything worked, and the staff were kind and helpful. We came in April, when it was calm, and still had all the services we needed. There’s a little harbor where kids can catch fish. A supermarket is about a 10-minute walk south, and a great store with everything is about five minutes north. Further south, there’s a beautiful stony beach, around a 30-minute walk, with lovely coastline almost the whole way. It’s worth visiting if you’re in Greece. A taxi from there to the metro takes around 15 minutes, and then you can get into Athens. I loved it, 5/5, the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

The pool bar staff were great, and the staff in general were friendly and helpful. The restaurant across the road on the bay belongs to the hotel, with a spectacular view and great food. The rooms are a bit noisy, though that’s part of the local atmosphere you come to Greece for. A fun little stay. Greek GPS seems to be off by a few hundred metres, so the taxi missed the place on its first try.
