Villa Sophia

The garden is spacious and green, the house has room for a family of four, and Mrs. Sofia was pleasant with us. But two problems with safety and cleanliness took over the stay. The kitchen needed a proper clean. The bedrooms, bathroom, towels, and bedding were fine, but cutlery still had food on it, the drawers and wardrobes were visibly dirty, and the windows were badly marked. We ended up washing everything we planned to use. More seriously, one of the low garden railings was rusty and broken at the edge. We knew from the photos that the front railings were low, but the damage wasn't visible there. Mrs. Sofia knew several children would be coming for our daughter's birthday and didn't warn us about it. Our child fell at that exact spot. Thankfully there were no serious consequences, though he had to spend two hours in hospital for observation. We consider a safe space a basic requirement for accommodation, and the hazard should have been fixed or at least mentioned. The location just outside Porto Rafti was good, and our first impression had been positive. Still, the lack of care with safety and cleanliness overshadowed it. Both are basic hosting obligations and covered by specific hosting rules.

We'd happily stay here again if we return to Porto Rafti. The house was clean and had everything we needed, and Mrs. Sofia was so kind and welcoming. The location was excellent. Thank you for everything 💗

Sofia is such a kind person and always ready to help. The place was spotless and had all the amenities, and it felt like our own little cottage 👌 I'd definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely view, and the house matched the photos exactly. Everything was impeccable, and our hostess made us feel very welcome. Thanks so much for everything!
