Civitel Attik & Civitel Esprit

The location made our Christmas holiday, and we loved it. The Mall is close enough to walk to, and there’s a swimming pool that should make it just as nice in summer. When we stayed last Christmas, Civitel had clean, beautiful rooms, pleasant staff, and great buffets. We’ll definitely visit again, thank you 😁

The room was comfortable, and the pool common area was really nice. Staff were friendly and helped with everything I asked for. Breakfast had a range of options, though the quality could be a little better. I didn’t really try the public transport connections. I had a nice stay and would return or recommend it for this area.

The staff were very friendly, the hotel was clean, and the wifi and A/C were excellent. There’s a small TV with Amazon, Netflx, and Youtube, plus the usual four-star extras like a shower cap, toothbrush, hand lotion, bathrobe, and slippers. It feels like a budget hotel, though it’s meant to be four-star and comes across closer to three-star. Service was good enough, but there were lots of room and restaurant problems. The room layout was odd, with an open shower opposite the bed and the sink in the bedroom. Only the toilet had its own separate area. Water leaked out from the shower into the bedroom, not a lot, but enough to perhaps be a slipping risk for older guests, and it looked unsightly. The minibar fridge was on but not cold, some lights didn’t work, the main light was very dim, and the toilet light stayed on. The pillows weren’t particularly good either. Breakfast wasn’t extensive. It had basics like eggs and tinned fruit, sausages and pancakes, but the croissants were very pasty and awful tasting, and the fruit juices were from concentrate, not fresh. One side of the toaster’s heating elements didn’t work, so only one side of the bread got toasted. The coffee machine served only lukewarm coffee. They should sort out these relatively minor issues. It sits somewhere between a three- and four-star hotel, and seems more suitable for a budget stay than for senior business executives.

My room had a terrace, and the mini-bar, with non-alcoholic drinks only, was included. The location was nice and quiet, and breakfast was excellent in a restaurant with tall, wide windows. I did miss having a sauna, since the outdoor pool can’t be used in February.
