The balconies are a real highlight, especially at sunset when the sky's colors reflect across the sea. I’ve stayed here during my last two summers visiting Paros, and the rooms have been a welcome place to unwind on such a crowded island. Mrs. Afendaki was always helpful with whatever I needed. The location also makes it easy to reach some of Paros’s prettiest spots without long drives, and having free parking takes away the hassle of searching for a space.

The staff really made this place for me, they were excellent. The hotel itself is simple and has the basics rather than any luxury. It’s right by the village and all the shops, including a bakery, supermarket and places to eat, and Piso Livadi-Logara is about a 15-minute walk away. I visited in June, when the island was quieter, and the price was incredible for Paros. Although it’s beside the road, closing the windows kept the noise to a minimum.

The room and balcony were lovely, and with the windows shut we couldn’t hear the street at all. The owners were so kind and ready to answer our questions. We had some noise from racers on the street, but the room was comfortable and clean, with a nice balcony for breakfast or an afternoon coffee. The service was very good.

It’s easy to get around from this hotel, thanks to its central location. There’s a steakhouse, a tavern and a playground nearby too.
