The rooms were close to a quite nice beach, and the area was very quiet. But the apartment didn’t have two floors as we’d been told. There was just one floor plus an internal raised level reached by stairs. The rooms were too small for my family of six, and we kept bumping into each other. The stairs weren’t firmly attached to the wall, and the joints were damaged. I was worried they might come down if I used them regularly. The upper level had a large window that wouldn’t open, so it got much hotter than the lower level. The kitchen was below, with a step that was dangerous for the children. Our youngest was five months old. The baby bed-park we were given had no mattress, just its base, so our baby slept on the hard surface. The refrigerator seemed faulty and only kept our food and drinks a little cool. The room was dark, and we had to leave the front door open to get enough light. It also wouldn’t lock from the inside, so at night we had to watch out for the children opening it. There was no living room, so we had to sit on one of the beds to eat or watch television. The bath was too small for us to bathe the baby properly. There was a large fire 20 km away. The staff said we didn’t need to worry because it was too far off, but just after our last day the whole area was evacuated because of it. We also found a caterpillar under the refrigerator. My wife and I stayed on guard all night on our last night to keep our sleeping children from being bitten.

Arriving late by car was easy. The rooms and service were great, and someone from the hotel came along to guide us to the parking.

The place is pretty isolated, so it works well if you want some quiet time away. The facilities themselves are basic.

We had the best vacation here. Truly the best place.
