Hotel Beach Amaryllis

I really enjoyed lunch there. The owners are a welcoming and helpful Greek family who also own an apartment upstairs, and the view is lovely. The food makes you feel happy as well as full. I even shared my fish with a cat :)

We liked the quiet, unobtrusive atmosphere. Since it was off-season, we didn't see much of the staff, but when we did, they were friendly. The room was clean and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds, enough blankets and linens to keep us warm in the cold, and a TV that worked well. The balcony view was amazing. There were a couple of small issues: the bathroom sink leaked, and the shower curtain seemed too short, so water got out of the shower area. Aside from that, it was a perfect stay. Highly recommended.

We found it quiet and peaceful, and the host and staff were warm and welcoming. The room was comfortable for a couple, with a small furnished balcony, a round table, and two chairs. The seaside view was excellent, and the beach was only steps away. We could easily fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Inside, there was a small fridge, a coffee maker with paper filters, a TV, and a good-sized wardrobe with enough hangers. The bed was comfortable, and the towels and linens were freshly laundered. WiFi was strong in both the room and restaurant. The restaurant is downstairs at the hotel entrance. No cooking smells drifted upstairs. They serve traditional Greek food, made to order as well as prepared dishes, including fresh fish of the day. I enjoyed grilled cod with a small cucumber and tomato salad, plenty of olive oil for dipping, and delicious fresh bread. It's family and kid friendly.

For a two-star hotel, I was amazed by what you get for the price. The rooms are comfortable, have balconies, and come with all the amenities. There's a restaurant, and free beach seating and an umbrella are included across the street. I'd recommend it to anyone after a no-frills stay, and I'll definitely be back.
