The furniture looks like it dates from the 1970s, and the electrical appliances seem dangerous. The place is filthy, with dust, dirt, and insects everywhere, and it made me want to leave the moment I arrived. But without a ferry, you can’t get off the island. The owner advertises it as "Hotel Stefanos," is uncooperative, and dismisses the many negative reviews. He should lose his business license.

We were stuck there for three days because there was no boat available, and there was nowhere else to stay on the island. The room was unbelievably dirty. There was dust everywhere, sponges and rubbish under the bed, and what looked like years of grime on the door handles, switches, shutters, bathroom surfaces, refrigerator, and moldy curtains. Everything felt like a source of infection. When we asked for the room to be cleaned because we couldn’t stay in those conditions, he "politely" said they’d forgotten the elderly cleaning lady. These things hadn’t been cleaned in years. I’ll upload photos that show it, though the room was even dirtier than the pictures suggest. He’ll probably say this is all false, as he does with others who have been in the same position. I can’t believe this place has a license and is still open. A disgrace. Photo from message.

We went to Kastellorizo for two days and stayed at the "Stefanos" rental rooms. The place was awful and dirty throughout, including the rooms, kitchen, and toilet, and big cockroaches were running around. I killed four in one day, including one that was inside a towel. One room had no air conditioning, only a ceiling fan that was so noisy we couldn’t sleep. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut, so we had to prop a stool behind it. I paid €200 for two days. The owner was rude and didn’t reply when I texted him about the cockroaches. A shame for Greek tourism and the country. They should shut it down.

I go to Kastellorizo every year and stay at Stefanos Hotel for two weeks. Everything is spotless, and both the owner and the maid are kind. I’m amazed by those two or three comments that aren’t telling the truth. Shame on them.
