The Mykonist

The apartments are roomy and beautifully renovated, and the beach nearby feels almost private to the hotel. We had an emergency, and the staff drove us to hospital and stayed with us. Great location and service, and a pristine spot if that’s what you’re after.

I’ve stayed in a few different parts of Mykonos on my many visits, but this place felt special, thanks to the on-site manager, Elias. He took great care of us and made the trip memorable. The room had everything we needed, the air conditioning was strong, and the blackout shades were excellent, something many places lack. The hotel staff made me feel at home. Thank you, Elias, for making our trip so wonderful.

Very bad experience. Our reservation was cancelled through booking.com, with the explanation that our credit card had been declined. That can't be right, since we'd checked it ourselves. The calls and text messages we exchanged only made the organization's bad faith seem clearer. Save yourself some time and find somewhere else to stay in Mykonos. We stayed in the Marquise room, a spacious, beautiful suite with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a generous living area. The terrace had sun loungers, a hot tub, and a private lounge. Elias greeted us warmly with local treats and gave us great suggestions for places to visit and eat. He stayed available throughout our visit. At breakfast, Giorgio was quick and efficient every morning. Housekeeping was considerate and attentive, always smiling and never intrusive. We appreciated being in a quieter, more secluded spot than the Old Port and other busy areas. It gave us a real chance to unwind and get away from the crowds. The accommodations and attentive hospitality exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend the Residence to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat.
