We came back for a second visit and again loved the clear water and lovely beach. Our apartment was very clean, and the veranda had a beautiful view across the sea. The owner is warm and kind, and the whole place made a perfect little escape for us. Thanks so much, we’ll definitely return.

The garden is full of flowers and fruit trees, including avocado, banana, orange, and olive, and it sits right by turquoise water where turtles come to nest. Across the sea, the mountain views are beautiful, especially at sunrise when the sun appears behind the mountain. It’s nature at its best. Marios is part of what makes the place special. He’s so kind and easy to talk with, and we had memorable conversations about all sorts of things. We miss it already. Thanks for everything, Mario!

The owner was so friendly and helpful, and shared lots of information about local animals and the area. He also let us take his canoe out whenever we asked, which was a lot of fun, and there’s a big BBQ guests can use. At night, you might be lucky enough to see a turtle hatch, since there are nests on the beach. We only saw eggshells at about five of the dozens of nests. It’s a peaceful spot close to nature. The beach is spacious, and there were times we had it entirely to ourselves. You can pick fruit from the garden on the way down to the water, and we could watch the kids swim from the house terrace. There was a lovely ficus tree giving us shade. We also enjoyed exploring nearby. Polilimnio waterfalls were magical, and we found an abandoned village with ruined houses and two churches that were still working and fully supplied, even though nobody lives there anymore. Quite a find if you enjoy exploring.

Great place for a relaxed family break, and the rates are very good in both busy and quiet seasons. The rooms are clean and work well, with air conditioning, though they could do with some renovation. The beach is secluded and very clean, just 100 metres from the rooms. The owner is a fun guy who’s put a lot of personal work into the property and takes care of what guests need. You’re also near places to visit in Messinia, including Kalamata, Koroni, and Foinikounta.
