We often walked the short distance to the seaside for a swim, and Petalidi village and Kalamata gave us a glimpse of Greek culture and history. The apartments are well placed for exploring the Messinia and Kalamata area. From the moment we arrived, I was taken by the natural surroundings and the clean, fresh air. The apartments at Anastasios Olive Garden Apartments are lovely and have what you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Sophia and Aristidis, the owners, did everything they could to make our visit easy and restful. The owners and staff were gracious and accommodating, and their tips for activities, places to eat, and sights to see were invaluable. It’s a real gem for comfortable accommodation and an authentic Greek experience. We’ll leave with wonderful memories and a strong wish to return. For a peaceful, rejuvenating holiday in Greece, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The apartment was comfortable, with cozy beds, a great wet room and rain shower, and a well equipped kitchen. It was spotlessly clean, and we loved having a sunny terrace for lazy breakfasts. There were three very cute, friendly cats too. The owners are lovely and helpful, and they sell their own olives, grown on site and cured with old recipes. They were divine, and we’d happily stay again. Anastasios Olive Garden is peaceful and tucked away among olive trees, with nice views of the Taygetos Mountains in the distance. It also made a great base for sightseeing. We took trips to beautiful Gialova Beach and Lagoon, shown in our photos, and to Kardamyli in the other direction.

We stopped here for two nights on the way from Patras to Skoutari. Our booked apartment was a studio with a double bed, two bunk beds for the children, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The place was quiet and well kept, with a nice garden.

The room was clean and practical, and the air conditioning worked very well. The free biscuits and instant coffee were a nice touch. There’s a lovely garden with lots of parking, and a great restaurant just a three minute walk away.
