Seaside Bungalows

The calm setting and garden are a big part of the appeal. There are five bungalows, with two close to the sea and three set farther back. Guests can use the shared chairs and tables in the garden, and there's an outdoor shower to rinse off after swimming. The owner is around every day if you need anything. My bungalow was cute and the beds were comfortable, though it wasn't very spacious and wasn't one of the front ones. There weren't many places to hang things, either in the shower or beside the beds. The kitchen had enough utensils for coffee, toast, and cooking, plus a fridge. For four people, the single small wardrobe could be an issue on a longer stay. We had one scare when a child spotted what might have been a mouse or a snake in the garden. The owner came over soon afterward, tended to the garden, kept a close eye on the grass, and updated us. The steps up to the property are quite steep, with nothing to hold as you climb. It also seems very difficult for anyone using a wheelchair to get around here. It's a lovely, peaceful place, especially for families with young children, since the beach is right by the houses. One thing to know is that cars are parked nearby rather than directly outside the property. The paved area there isn't wide enough, and it's used by people going to the beach.
