CNic Gemini Hotel

It’s central, and getting a bus into Corfu town is easy, at €3 per person. The area does let the hotel down, I suppose. Our visit was during a very quiet period. The rooms could use an upgrade, the hairdryer was an old 90s one, and the showers are small. You don’t get much included with the “all inclusive,” either. I’d rate it closer to 3 stars than 4. The pools are freshwater, and because the weather was cold, we didn’t go in.

We liked the welcoming feel of Hotel GEMINI, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The beach is just a short walk away. There are two pools, several open bars, and table tennis, which was a fun extra. Every evening, they had entertainment by the pool, so the atmosphere was lively for guests of all ages. The food was excellent, with lots of choice across European and traditional Greek dishes. Everything was clearly labeled and replenished while we were there. Our room had a nice balcony, and it was cleaned thoroughly each day. The corridors and restaurant were spotless too, and the whole hotel was clean and well kept. A very pleasant stay, with relaxation, good food, and Greek hospitality all in one.

The nicest part of our stay was Christina at the front desk. She went above and beyond, helping with excursions and our rooms, and explaining the entertainment. She was incredibly helpful and a real asset to the hotel team. The food was great, rooms were cleaned daily, sheets were changed, and staff accommodated our dietary requirements. It was a lovely stay.

We’re staying in the hotel across the road, not even particularly close, and for the last three nights this place has played music ridiculously loud through its speakers. Kids in our hotel on this side have all woken up crying, and they don’t seem to care. Tonight, they let the only three guests there take over the DJ booth and deck, then crank the volume all the way up without considering anyone nearby. I can only imagine what it’s like for people staying there.
