The rooms were spotless and thoughtfully put together, and the pool was a lovely place to unwind. Ionian Eye also has a great setting, peaceful among nature but still close to Messonghi’s restaurants and beach. Prices felt fair, and the service was personal. What really gave the place its welcoming feel was Costas, the owner. He was always smiling and treated us like old friends. It’s clear he cares about guests and takes pride in making the stay relaxed. We left feeling refreshed and already keen to return. It was one of those rare trips that just felt right.

We’d stayed here once before, seven years ago, and came back for a second visit. Room 104 was a spacious, quiet suite with a hot tub and outdoor space, and we found it very relaxing. The bed was almost too firm, but we still slept well. The pool area was lovely, with a great view. Staff were friendly, and gave us a discount when we paid them directly instead of using a booking site. Xenia, the manager, looked after us really well. Our flight home was late and got delayed, so being able to use the neighbouring room for the whole day after the 10am checkout, free of charge, helped us a lot. That was really good of them.

We spent six nights here, and Angelica's spa treatments were AMAZING. She's fantastic, and I thoroughly recommend booking a treatment with her. The pool is great, and the bar has fair prices. A lovely guy runs it and serves amazing cocktails and other drinks. The rooms are lovely, though the bathroom is small, so bear that in mind if you're tall or large. Staff are helpful, and the area is fairly quiet, with a few nice bars and restaurants to pick from.

It was great hanging around the pool, and the sea view was lovely. The rooms are small but did the job. The bar didn't have many options, unfortunately, and I'm built like a rugby player, so the shower wasn't very comfortable. When we asked staff to book a taxi on our departure day, they weren't helpful.
