Voltes Residences

Mesta is a magnificent village, and Voltes is a beautiful place to stay, with what you need to relax and enjoy yourself. We traveled with small twin children, and Stellios helped us figure out what to visit based on the time and weather. His hospitality, simplicity, openness and willingness to help were key to our Chios holiday. We wouldn't have enjoyed it nearly as much without meeting him and seeing his wonderful work at Voltes. Definitely worth staying.

The place has a wonderful medieval feel, and Stelios was incredibly helpful. Stone walls and narrow old streets surround it. Pigri, Olimpi and Limenas are about 7-10 minutes away, Komi is a 23-minute drive, and Lithi takes 35 minutes. There are different kinds of rooms, so make sure to choose the one you expect. Stelios Politis, the proprietor, went out of his way to share lots of things to do in the area and offer whatever help he could. He's a great guy. The rooms are beautifully rebuilt inside ancient castle walls, and every convenience has been provided. An absolutely unique place. We can't recommend it enough. Larry and Mildred Duncan.

Voltes is ideally placed for exploring medieval Mesta, with its narrow lanes, stone buildings and distinctive history, while still giving us all the modern comforts we wanted. The rooms blend traditional village charm with comfort, and the thoughtful details made them feel cozy. We especially liked the local touches, including mastic shampoo and the little treats left for us, which gave us a taste of Chios culture. From the moment we arrived, the hosts' warmth made us feel at home. They were among the kindest people we met on our trip to Chios, and their hospitality made the stay both comfortable and memorable. The beautiful accommodation and all those thoughtful touches made for an amazing visit. We left with full hearts, glad to have found both a lovely place and wonderful people. We'd recommend Voltes to anyone visiting Chios. 🤍
