Maik Apartments

As a tour guide, I’m very sensitive to the quality of my holidays, and this was a nightmare. After 2000 km, I was exhausted and got a horrible welcome. We had to take a bigger apartment for 110 e per day instead of 90 e, then pay 6 e per day for the dogs, which had never been mentioned before. SORRY, but that’s how it went. It felt like BIG BROTHER the whole time. If you took towels, it was “where are the Towers????” I counted the towels, and there was always some “we have concept” talk. I’ve never had this kind of KONTROLL as the main occupation before. Be ready to wake up at 8 h 30 to a vacuum cleaner. Maik, the owner of the flat, rents cars and cleans them right under your windows at 8 h 30. wunderfull holidays feeling. They don’t love dogs, they see a cash machine. We left our spitz in the room just long enough to get lunch at the next restaurant. Maik came, and his wife Mathilde called two of us during lunch. There were other dogs in the flat, and they made messes in the staircases, but we were always guilty. horrible!!!! The owner of the flat has a restaurant and puts empty bottles in a box until 2 o clock in the morning. beautiful holidays feeling. When we left, there was no bye bye, just as there had been no Welcoming when we arrived. Three rooms for one week cost 1500 e. That’s life !!! No invoice, all black i presume.... We couldn’t sleep a single night because of shouting, arguments, and crying from the room next door. The owners did nothing to protect us, so we had to leave early. Now they won’t refund the money for the unused days of our reservation, which we lost because of their mistake.

We felt at home for two weeks at Mike's. The room was perfectly clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. No insects, no smells. The location is the best in Metamorfosi for us: near the main road but quiet because of the forest, three minutes from the sea, and a little away from the village center, so evenings weren’t very noisy when tourists went for a walk. I want to say how much I admire Matilda and Mike. Matilda is a gentle, elegant lady who always knew what we needed and was ready to help. I’ve never had such a warm welcome on arrival. Mike was friendly and open to all our requests. Thank you both for a wonderful holiday!

Friendly hosts and an apartment with everything you need. The beach is about 5-10 minutes away.
