Aeolia Villas

A peaceful place about 5 kilometers outside Karystos, with lots of sandy beaches along the way. Our two-room accommodation was lovely and well kept, almost like new. There’s a big garden with mulberry trees, and the stay was pleasantly quiet.

The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with the basic kitchen items needed for cooking. The window frames are new, and there are screens on all the windows, though the bathroom ones are nailed or glued in place. A few things could be better. The kitchen utensils are worn from use, phone signal and 4G are completely absent, and the Wi-Fi slowed down at busy times. The TVs aren’t smart TVs, and there was no shower gel in the bathroom at first. They brought some when we mentioned it. There also wasn’t the usual small treat or bottled water, and there’s no espresso capsule machine.

Work kept me in one of the apartments for a little over 3 months, and I was completely satisfied throughout. The place had everything I needed and was organized like a home, which made it comfortable to live in. The beach is very close and easy to reach on foot.

The two-room units are nice, with two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a medium-sized fridge. We did have some trouble communicating with the owner. One bedroom had no air-conditioning and no window. It would also be helpful to have a broom and mop in each room.
