Anna was one of the friendliest, most pleasant people we met. She helped with everything and made us feel like we had someone of our own there. The room was spotless and just like the photos, and all the amenities worked. Even the jacuzzi felt like it was being used for the first time. It’s in a very convenient spot, less than five minutes from the center, and we always found parking. We’d definitely come back, though we’d like to try the other Dandy Villas accommodations too. Highly recommend, and thank you!

The view from the room was incredible, especially in the morning. We had coffee by the window and just enjoyed looking out. It’s an easy walk to the center, too. As soon as we came in, it felt like home. The room was warm and had everything you need, plus chocolates, cookies, and wine to welcome us. One of the best rooms we’ve stayed in.
The hardest part was getting to the house. The car can’t reach it, so we had to find a space in the square, if one was available, then haul everything uphill. Leaving meant carrying it all back down to the car. With two adults, two children, and a dog, we made at least four trips each way. There was also a concrete piece just inside the front door that we kept tripping on, especially at night. The house was smaller than it looked in the photos. The downstairs ceiling was too low for anyone over 1.75, so you had to hunch over, and on the stairs you were bound to hit your head. The beds weren’t suitable for couples and were smaller than a semi-double. Even our children didn’t fit in the supposed double bed, so we slept separately. The kitchen felt like a cave. We booked four nights and paid 1,500 euros, but there was no breakfast. The fridge was empty and the freezer only had ice cubes. A packet of toast would have been something. They said cleaning would happen after the fourth day, but if you need anything, they charge extra. They didn’t even change the towels. The electrical appliances were another problem. At check-in, they wanted us to sign a paper saying the house was clean and the appliances worked, and making us responsible for anything that broke. How were we supposed to know if something was already broken? The kettle was lousy, and I wondered if anyone boiled water in it. We couldn’t even use the tea they’d left. The fireplace was broken on the first level, so we were told to use the one on the second staircase. We’d forgotten, and after two minutes the house filled with smoke. Ms. Anna was very kind, though she had told us not to use the first one. In response to what you wrote, we didn’t sign any form, which you know very well, and no one told us our towels wouldn’t be changed. We knew it wasn’t a hotel, but we’ve stayed in many similar places and they all had at least a bottle of water and a juice. One last thing for anyone considering this place: pay close attention to the message sent after booking. We objected to it from the start because it mentions unreasonable terms.
A really nice stay, ideal for couples looking to relax and unwind.
The "mezzo" accommodation works well if you have little children and want them close by and under your care. It’s a lovely, cozy place, suitable for a weekend with a partner and children, on a central street in Metsovo, just three minutes on foot from the main square.
