Villa Paradiso Mochlos

We were a group of four couples and five children, including three infants, and the hospitality made the stay especially comfortable. After staying in plenty of villas over the years, this is the most beautiful and well-cared-for one we’ve been to. The views over the sea and mountains are stunning, and the pool was a big hit with everyone. The place is thoughtfully equipped, from the kitchen and bathrooms to the barbecue and outdoor seating areas. You can tell the hosts put care into the small details. Highly recommended!

The layout worked so well for our family: everyone had an en-suite bedroom and a terrace or balcony. We could enjoy sunrise coffee outside, then take in the pool and sea views through the day and at sunset. Daniela greeted us warmly when we arrived and showed us around the brand new designer Villa, while Dimitri was setting up an amazing welcome dinner. They seemed to have thought of everything, and Daniela & Dimitri soon felt like family. We cooked together in the well-equipped kitchen and outdoor kitchen/grill, and the fresh pressed orange juice was delicious. They’re well known in town, and kindly arranged dinner reservations for our large group. At the Taverna, the owner treated us as special guests. It was really hard to leave Villa Paradiso. I’m sure we’d want to extend our stay indefinitely too!

The hosts were incredibly attentive and made sure we had what we needed for a memorable stay. The villa’s infinity pool overlooking the ocean was a highlight, especially at sunset. In Mochlos, the villa felt like a real escape, with peaceful surroundings and beautiful sea views. Its design mixes modern elegance with Cretan charm, and the details, from the spacious bedrooms to the fully equipped kitchen, were thoughtfully done. A luxurious, tranquil place to stay in Crete.

Mochlos was a gem of a nearby village, and the villa’s grounds, with olive, orange, and lemon trees, made for a peaceful break. It felt like time slowed down while we reconnected with nature. The views were breathtaking, stretching across the Aegean Sea, the dramatic Cretan coastline, and Mochlos. The villa blends luxurious amenities with its serene surroundings. We had an unforgettable stay, and we’ll be back next summer with my friends. Highly recommended for anyone after peace and luxury in Crete!
