We spent four days at this hotel with our 1-year-and-8-month-old son, hoping for a relaxing family break. Instead, the stay was disappointing from beginning to end, and we wouldn't recommend it or return. We arrived to find our room wasn't ready until almost an hour after the stated check-in time. The bigger problem was the baby cot. We asked for one soon after arrival and followed up more than seven times through the afternoon and evening. Staff kept saying it was being handled, but at 9:00 PM our exhausted son still had nowhere suitable to sleep. The cot finally came around 9:30 PM. When we later raised the issue and asked for compensation, the hotel offered no meaningful remedy. We felt brushed aside. Other problems kept interrupting our sleep. One night the air conditioning stopped during a power outage, leaving the room uncomfortable. Another night, a smoke detector beeped continuously. Both should have been dealt with promptly. Service was slow and communication poor throughout our stay, and staff showed little responsibility when issues came up. The kids' club was another letdown. We paid €40 for 2.5 hours of childcare, expecting supervision and activities. Instead, we found our son had been put down to sleep for about 1.5 hours that morning, even though that wasn't his usual routine. We felt this was unacceptable: we paid for a service we didn't really receive, and his schedule was thrown off for the rest of the day. We chose this place expecting a family-friendly hotel, but basic needs, reliability, and responsiveness all fell short. For families with young children, those things matter.

We're ten days into our stay and absolutely loving the hotel. We knew it had only just opened, so we arrived with an open mind and expected there might be a few teething problems. Seeing some of the negative reviews, I wanted to share what it's been like for us before they put people off booking. We came mainly to rest and knew the hotel was isolated. Having a rental car for the whole stay meant we could avoid a long bus ride from the airport and explore whenever we felt like it. The views still take my breath away every day. There are lots of pools, and we've always found sunbeds available, whatever the time. Some guests put towels down early, but it really isn't necessary. We spent most of our time at the bottom pool, where a DJ plays from around 11 am to 2 pm. The water's great for cooling down without being freezing, even for someone like me who usually finds pools cold. The food has been amazing, with a different selection every day and really high quality. The desserts feel like patisserie, and the buffet is plated beautifully for an all-inclusive hotel. We also love the bars' selection and cocktails. They can get busy, and drinks sometimes take a little longer, but the staff work hard to get them out. Our room is on the small side, but the bed is comfortable and the TV is huge. Streaming suits us at 31 and 34, since we like quiet evenings watching our shows. The AC works well and can get very cold, we slept at 15°C each night. Bedside tables could be bigger, and I wouldn't suggest putting more than two people in a deluxe room. A sun umbrella would be welcome by the swim up rooms, as ours gets sun all day and can be hot in the afternoon. The hotel sometimes seems short staffed, but every staff member we've met greets us with a smile and tries to help quickly. At busy times, it can take a bit longer for drinks, though never so long that it bothered us. We've only had one rude interaction, at the snackbar. Other guests' impatience has been more frustrating, with people cutting in line. During check-in, someone even interrupted us to ask, "you're done right" rather than wait two seconds. People could relax a bit! We love it here and are already looking forward to returning next year. If you're easygoing and happy to relax, a few extra minutes for a drink shouldn't spoil your holiday. I've also seen the hotel trying to act on negative feedback, which is nice. Claims that all the good reviews are paid promotions seem pretty bizarre. I wish! 😆 There are a few cats around the hotel. I don't know if the hotel feeds them because they look a bit skinny, but they're very affectionate. Bringing cat food made breakfast-time trips to find our feline friends and fill their bellies part of our daily routine. The mini market down the road sells it too! The food was good and the desserts especially were excellent, but we won't be back. There were children everywhere, and the resort didn't feel relaxing. Every pool was full, guests claimed sunbeds with towels early, and staff didn't seem to enforce the rules. We also found it inappropriate that parents brought children into the bar at 11 PM. Check-in took an hour. The reception staff were unprofessional and difficult to deal with, although the bar and restaurant teams were pleasant, welcoming, and always smiling. Our room was decent, but its dirty windows were unacceptable for a 5-star property. The minibar was empty when we arrived and was restocked only once during our week. The themed restaurants were a joke, with one serving the same food as the main buffet. Evening entertainment was practically nonexistent, and the hotel app was awful. Apart from taking a walk to Mochlos village, there wasn't really anything to do.

We came back from a week here having had a wonderful holiday. The hotel is beautiful, our room was spacious with a sea view, and Mochlos nearby is lovely. The food was great, with lots of choice even at the buffet and different main dishes each day. The snack bar Gyros were a highlight. Staff worked hard, helped whenever we needed it, and greeted us with a smile. Some of the hotel routines could be clearer. At the buffet, it would help to have hosts welcome and seat people. As it is, it's a free-for-all, so during busy times we waited beside a table for it to be cleared and then had to catch someone's attention to order drinks. We went with the flow, but I can understand why others find service slow. The pool bar had the same uncertainty, with some guests ordering at the bar and others through pool staff. Our room was cleaned daily, but minibar refills happened at different times. Once we returned from the pool at 6pm and it hadn't been restocked. That wasn't a big deal to us, though it felt less organized than it should. Guest services had confirmed my boyfriend's request for prosecco in our room for our anniversary before we arrived, but it showed up several hours after we'd checked in, which disappointed him. It also seems odd to keep Padel/Tennis rackets at Reception when the pool bar or spa are on the way to the courts. I never saw anyone at the spa, possibly because treatments are extremely expensive and hotel guests get no discount. At the gym, the fridges had no bottled water. When I asked at spa reception, I got a shrug and was told they'd asked the procurement team to restock more frequently. That was disappointing, though I guess those staff aren't part of the hotel. I'd recommend this place, with a caveat about service. I worry that when the season gets into full swing, the confusing processes and staffing could turn chaotic quickly, which would be a shame given the place's potential. We really loved our holiday and hope the staff get better training and more teammates over the summer.
