I feel sick about what I saw at this hotel. At least five times, I saw dead cats that had been poisoned, including outside on the streets. Draw your own conclusions. It’s such a shame. They deserve to live whether you like them or not, and shouldn’t just be poisoned for being around.

Hotel Violetta feels like a charming throwback, pure nostalgia 🖤. The interior hasn't been updated in decades, but that’s part of its appeal, and the place is beautifully maintained. The rooms are immaculate and have no musty smell. The location is perfect, right across the main street from the beach and surrounded by restaurants. The real stars are the front staff. Tasos handled our last-minute request with charm and made sure we were comfortable and settled in. Christos was also so nice, carrying both heavy bags up to our room. Would highly recommend.

A lovely, comfortable small hotel near a clean beach and clean sea, with very nice staff. Everything was quiet day and night, and cafes, restaurants and shops are all close by. The thermal springs 2 km away and walking routes through the hilly landscape are nice extras. Just one small issue: the cleaners repeatedly disturbed us during siesta time.

I chose this hotel for its private parking, which was behind the hotel. The location is fantastic, near the beach, with views of the sea and the island shoreline beyond. The spacious room had a fridge, and the bathroom had a bathtub. Sitting on the balcony behind the palm trees in the evening was great, as was breakfast the next morning.
